Overview:

 

Using state and national data, this webinar will: (1) provide an overview of recent trends in suicide, including populations disproportionately affected; (2) description of data collection processes, and available data for use; and (3) evidence-based approaches to suicide risk assessment, prevention, and safety-planning.

 

Learning Objectives:

 

At the end of this webinar, participants will understand: (1) recent trends in suicide deaths; (2) changes in trends over time; (3) non-fatal implications of completed suicides; and (4) how to develop and tailoring safety plans for those at risk for suicide.
